Hope my flickr friends are not sick of cupcake shots yet... as I have (quite) a few more! :O
This is called "Devil's Delight" because, according to the baker, Marie Lancup (flickrite Epicurean Piranha), "they are sinful & impossible to resist".
I will let her describe it... *(warning: the description alone sounds high caloric! ;D)
"That's a fresh orange rosebud on top [picked from my mother's garden in the wee hours of the night before the event - the last remaining roses!] It's a deep, intense, moist chocolate cake with a Swiss meringue salted caramel (caramel à la fleur de sel) buttercream. "
