Public School Number Four. b20

The "volunteer" backed off a little so we got closer to the inside. This apparently was where the auditorium was. The balcony pictured here is I guess the spot light for the stage was. Just to the side of me was a stage. Graffiti everywhere. The closet I can get to the truth is that the school suffered an explosion in the boiler room. Half of the students and teachers were killed...thus the haunted stories. The structure has had several other fires over the years caused by homeless living in the structure and vandals. The build has not been torn down because of historians blocking the motion to do so. It was sold for about $182000 I believe in the late 80's early 90's. Federal funding became limited and the rehab too expensive. The owner decided not to pay the taxes on the property and was eventual auctioned for back taxed of $82000.
