2002 Chevrolet Blazer 2-door
The compact S10 Chevy Blazer was redesigned for 1995, again available as 2-door or 4-door models. From 1996, the 4.3 liter Vortech V6 (190 HP) was standard, with full time "Autotrac" 4WD available for 1999 and base models dropped in 2000. The larger Trailblazer debuted for 2002, with the compact Blazer continuing without noticeable changes into 2004, with finally only the 2-door available for retail sales in 2005 and the 4-door for fleet orders only.
2-door models were shorter by about six inches (100.5" wheelbase and 177.3" length) and were also smaller inside with 60.6 cubic feet (cargo volume index), on the low side for the compact SUV class (smaller than the Ford Escape and Honda CR-V).
