MotorCity Diner

There are plenty of normal things to do in MotorCity (rather than drag racing and anti-socialability). For one thing, you can always cruise down to the local diner 'Nani's Diner' for a quick hamburger or milkshake.

Considered neutral ground by the two feuding car clubs (the Lugnut Modified Car Club, and the Conrod Hotrod Club), Nani's offers a cool place to hang out and chat to pretty waitresses.

Watch out for the Sheriff though - where there are hotrodders there's bound to be trouble. Hence the Sheriff drives the high output 1950 Mercury Eight to chase down any trouble.

Nani's Diner has been built in late-1950's style for Flickr LUGNuts' 74 build challenge. - 'Diorama-rama' for the building of vehciles within a diorama setting.

Built in MotorCity 1:28 scale are the diner (in Modular style, here with two corner units assembled), the 1949 Ford Woody wagon in navy blue with surf boards, 1955 Buick Century Riviera 4-door hardtop in baby blue with white roof, the 1950 Mercury Eight sedan in olive green with dark grey roof and 1949 Ford Tudor coupe in bronze with lime and gold detailing, plus a red 1930's Ford V8 coupe rod.
