100_6905 Bailey update, after the Vet appoint. today.

We just got home from the Vet.

 

Bailey's blood pressure was completely normal on his Fortakor Blood pressure meds.

His heartbeat was also back down to normal.

 

The vet was pleased, and so we will re check his BP and blood tests in a month. I will do a trial of stopping his BP meds 2 days prior to returning to the vet, to see if he still needs them. Maybe he was just way too stressed out last with his kidney problems.

 

He will stay on the electrolyte solution and the KD wet food.

 

( I am no longer giving him the Clomicalm for his OCD. Obsessive compulsive disorder, which manifested in spraying and tail biting. Since I stopped this pill he is less "spaced out", more interactive and content. Maybe he is also feeling better with his kidneys.)

I hate to give pills unless absolutely necessary. (For BP and OCD)

I am on night shifts and have to sleep during the day, so may not have the time to be on here much until my next weekend off. Not this weekend but the next.
