WG9 body repair and repaint essentially complete. The WG gang motor (or section car or speeder) chassis were built by the TGR workshops using Buda engine, transmission and other components probably recovered from earlier Buda built trolleys. They were classified BG. From the mid 50's the original Buda 9hp flat twin engine was replaced with Wisconsin 18hp twin cylinder engines and the units reclassified WG. WG1 to WG49 were fitted with model THD engines, WG50 upwards received model TJD. They were in use up to the late 1980's.
