Done...but I'm not sure about it!

I think I went way above my abilities as a piecer! I'm new to this paper piecing stuff and I don't think this is up to snuff for my partner who is a very, very good quilter!

 

There are so many lumps and bumps and the seams are uneven because I would stitch them big in case I needed to take the stitches out and then when I thought it was ok I sometimes forgot to go back and stitch over with smaller stitches and there is a serious wonk going on there on the lower left border...I just couldn't get that side to be straight!!

I did have fun with the hand quilting and will do that again...only when it's not 100 degrees because even having this little thing (18'x12") on my lap was hot!:)

So I'm thinking of starting over...back to the drawing board...good thing there is plenty of time!!

 

Amended...so you don't have to look all the way down....I didn't start over!;)
