Audience

The artist and the spectator are equally important participants in the complex process of conveying ideas and emotions through art. This requires an audience of at least one who directs interest and creates specific meaning through a unique instance of the artist-spectator exchange. Most artists would wish for a larger audience but one is enough to make art happen.
