Seventy Five.
maybe I'm thinking myself in a hole
wondering, who I am when I ought to know
straighten up now time to go
fool somebody else, fool somebody else
- Ben Folds Five, Best Imitation of Myself
Got a little participation out of Samson today. Though not for long. He's a bit of a nervous nelly when there are strange noises (i.e. me moving around on a chair above him), so he stuck around long enough to scarf down a treat and then high tailed it out of there. I'm putting a picture in the comments from back when I first got him. It always amazes me to look at how damn tiny he used to be. The shot is from fall 2002, back during my second year of law school. It's scary that I look at myself then and think I look young. I guess I really am getting old.
As a side note, I am SO not a skinny jeans person. I cringe to even post this, but I'm really not in the mood to shoot something else right now. I never wear these jeans without my knee-high Northface boots over them. I've always hated my legs. Soccer made them super stocky with muscle, and age (and laziness) has not helped the situation. But whatever. I am who I am.
I realize the chair's not all that big, but it is cushy. It's part of our dining set with the awesome green table. My mom tells me (since this was her breakfast table growing up) that these chairs used to match the table exactly, but at some point my grandma reupholstered them. I'm planning to cover them in a new, brighter fabric soon. Happy Big Cushy Chair Tuesday!
