Drink of the sun.
So clearly I was playing with light and sheers and nude shots today. I know my family all hate when I do this, but to me it feels so important. Part of this photography project for me is pushing my boundaries and discovering beauty in myself in ways in which I would normally not.
My issues with self-image have been plaguing me since I hit puberty. Somehow, being able to take and post shots like this feels a little like being able to shout at the world that I don't care what they think. I am me. Imperfect and unique. And I may not always love myself, but I'm trying.
