1965 HUMBER IMPERIAL
This a 1965 Humber Imperial. This was a higher specified version of the Humber Super Snipe and came with extras such as power steering, automatic transmission, a radio & rear compartment heating. The engine is a 3.0 litre straight six producing around 130bhp. The car could crack 100mph. This particular car was supplied new to a Police Superindendent in Kent, hence the regisration number DKR 999C. The current whereabouts of the car is not known although it is believed to have gone abroad. The photos were taken in August 2006.
