The Alchemist Kyanite Spectrolite and Gold Necklace
~The Alchemist
An alchemist is one who transmutes. Alchemy is best known as the ability to transmute base metals in gold and sometimes silver, and it is also a practice where one tries to discover the elixir of longevity. Many alchemists used these formulas as a spiritual metaphor, where alchemical formulas were used to transmute one from dis-ease to ease, from unknowing to knowing, and from darkness to light, ultimately reaching the state of Enlightenment and Eternal Life.
The Alchemist as a necklace is comprised of kyanite and spectrolite (a rare from of blue labradorite) and 14k gold fill chain (Gold fill is sterling silver filled with gold- Gold fill never comes off, unlike gold plate. It will last a lifetime!). Kyanite is a stone that aids in manifesting and promotes communication and tranquility. Labradorite is also known to assist with change and transformation.
The larger, paler nuggets are kyanite as well as the longer middle strand of all blue (what a gorgeous cornflower color!). The spectrolite are the darker blue nuggets that all have wonderful "flash", mostly in this weird greenish tone. Hard to describe, but mesmerizing to behold!
