Compassion International

We learned of Advent Conspiracy and, tired of battling Christmas shopping traffic, and most importantly, wanting to help make a real difference in the world, we decided to take the money that we would have used to buy gifts for my sisters, parents, aunts & uncles, and donate it to Compassion International (CI). We already sponsor a child from Ghana and knew that an additional gift at Christmas time to CI could be used to great benefit to help the organization's center in Ghana, thereby touching the lives of not only the child and his family but of his entire village. We sent our friends and family members cards explaining to them that we had given to CI in their honor, and provided some information about the organization in case they felt led to also give.

 

It worked great. We did something that really made a difference. We can't wait to do it again!
