Balham Intermediate, a LBSCR box on the main Brighton line, located on Tooting Bec Common. opened in 1893 fitted with a 16 lever frame. Closed 12.10.1952 when the new Streatham Junction power box opened. A favourite spot with LBSCR photographers.
