The building has been under a Cultural Heritage protection since 1944, but abandoned by Department Naturstyrelsen years ago, the decay is now massive.
Local initiative are now trying to save the building from destruction, by forming a public association “Friends of Daempegaard” with aim to bring life to the building and save it for our descendants. www.daempegaard.dk/
