Filey April 2016

So, since the birth of our daughter in August 2015, we decided to take our first family holiday. Somewhere where Bee could meet the sea for the first time, plenty of fresh air and not too far away from home. The North Yorkshire coast seemed to tick all the boxes.

Filey was our base at Haven Blue Dolphin Caravan Park. This seemed to be a happy medium in order to explore Bridlington in the South and Scarborough and Whitby in the North. The weather was a bit of a mixed bag. Bringing Arctic winds on Saturday that cut you in half with the strength and temperature. The weather improved on Sunday. All in all a very pleasant weekend that the weather tried and failed to spoil. Bee cut her second tooth here too which explains the rosy red cheeks...
