Tank

Well in was 1940's themed Bank Holiday at East Lancs Railway this May. A number of events punctuated the weekend. Sadly for Saturday and Sunday the weather put paid to it. Happily, Monday was a lot better. This little engine was pulling a camoflagued tank, suggesting that this was one of the many tasks carried out by the railways during the war. Now, not wanting to pick holes, but this looks like either a Scorpion or Schimitar tank, both of which never saw the war as they were built in the 70's. Oh well the effect was what was intended I suppose.
