Shunty

A regular at East Lancs. This shunter ran up and down the line on the Trackside platform, away from the main two lines that runs the service to Rawtenstall to Heywood. A few photographers were expecting something a little more substantial. But in truth, during the war, these little shunters were just as busy moving goods, equipment and arms around the country.
