This land is Myland!
I recently claimed an island off the coast of North America as my own (eat your Dole pineapple heart, Larry Ellison!). It took a considerable effort, but I finally managed to do so, having gotten my smartwool (TM) socks wet (almost) to get to its wild, craggy shores, where I had to fight off a giant pterodactyl (a medium sized seagull, really) and a dozen or so grumpy hermit crabs who were non too pleased that I disturbed their evening preyers (sic!). I have since decreed that no living creature is allowed on Myland, for no fewer than 364 days, 23 hours and 59 minutes each calendar year, this decree remaining in effect until I get bored with the idea of being the King of Myland (which, if things go according to how they do, may have happened yesterday).
