Lower Purgatory Falls
This is from my first outing with a camera after I broke my right humerus in March. It felt nice to be able to handle the photo gear again, though it sure was a struggle at times. I decided to visit several small waterfalls and cascades that are relatively close to home (none of which I've been to before). LPF is by far the most impressive of them. Even though it was a weekday, the place was quite busy, so I wound up scrambling gingerly onto some rocks for a bit of solitude. I took a bunch of shots at different focal lengths and exposures, none of which struck me as particularly pleasing. Nonetheless, I came home with a big smile on my face. I’m slowly getting my life back (there was a time I thought I never would).
