Rayan M.
A Lonesome Rhythm
My nightly companion. I'm not a very good pianist. In fact I'm a very lousy one, but I would spend entire nights playing because the moment my fingers touch the keys I become addicted; an addict to rhythm who cannot find an apt closure to his piece. It isn't until the break of dawn and the gentle knocks of the sun rays on a cold window that I realize how much time has passed, and to appropriately grasp the full, wider image, there would normally be an ashtray and a still-lit cigarette, perhaps an empty glass in a room overwhelmed with smog and tremendous silence.
I wish life could be as simple and melodic as pressing a key to produce a wonderful and passionate note.
Remember though: Even if you suck at life, it is always worth playing because you can never create a bad melody out of something so beautiful, and when the night is finally over, your randomly performed, lousy sonata will still resound after that silence.
"it beats a lonely rhythm . . all night long"
* Sorry for the very long absence. I shall be back soon to catch up with every one.
