Spring in Colorado
(The image on the right was taken Thursday morning, and the one on the left Friday morning, same Aspen tree.)
Thursday I was out washing windows in my shirtsleeves. That night we had some weather...first a thunderstorm, then snow which lasted though most of Friday. Got about 8-10 inches. Big result, we were without power for 29 hours and pretty well snowed in. Luckily, the fireplace in our bedroom (runs off propane) we could get lighted and keep at least that room warm. The rest of the house fell to 52 degrees....really cold!. So glad when we heard the furnace come on! Adventures in rural living.
