Rose Henry Hudson

Canadian winter hardy rose. Hardy to -45C or -50F. Rugosa type bred by Felicitas Svejda in 1966 for Agriculture Canada. The rose was not introduced until 1979. While rugosa roses are not popular in general, this one is eye-catching with its apple blossom like flowers and nicely mounded shrub form.
