Minolta AF-C Notes (15)
Minolta AF-C
Japanese 35mm format Autofocus point-and-shoot. Produced c.1982
Lens: 35 mm f/2,8
It has the problem of a firmly stuck film advance wheel :-(
So here we finally can see the cause of the hardship !
The metal Lip that should block the Film Transport Wheel from turning back is completely bend backwards and digging into the plastic of the Wheel.
Now I understand were all those small black plastic scrapings that I did find have had their source !!
My guess is that this is a weak spot in the AF-C and that this will happen when somebody hamfisted with brute force tries to turn the Film Transport Wheel in the wrong direction.
