Before I made this stand I used to use a drinking glass with the same size opening. But it wasn't nearly tall enough to let me actually fill the bag. So I made sure to cut the stand tall enough. Plus, the pvc is way sturdier than some bag stands I've seen for sale, and won't collapse under the weight of the frosting.
