Kerry Hall says: Heppner, Oregon I was born in Heppner and we lived here until I was almost 6. I remember the courthouse most because we used to play on the steps while waiting for dad to get off work. He was a state policeman and had an office here. I like that this picture isn't straight and the view is from the bottom of the steps, kind of the way a kid sees/remembers it. 1965-1970

Kerry Hall says: Ontario, OR Our family lived in Ontario briefly in the late '70's. This was my grandma Culp's favorite place to take us whenever we came back to visit. I like this black and white because that's sometimes how memories are. 1970-1972

Kerry Hall says: Dunster, BC My dad broke his arm when his bike wheel wedged into one of these cracks. Mom painted the flowers. I think Bob made the skid marks :) I chose this picture because of all the memories it holds. 1972-1982

Kerry Hall says: Dunster, BC What a great place to grow up, and ya, it was cold! I like this picture because of the lack of color. The dark and cold are so much a part of winter there. 1972-1982

Kerry Hall says: Vale, Oregon I lived with Grandma Culp for my last year of high school at Vale Union (mom & dad's alma mater) I finished 2 years in one which afforded me a year off to travel! As a teenager, this was pretty much it for what there was to do, so this is the perfect picture! 1981-1982

Kerry Hall says: Pendleton, OR Spent a couple semesters here, attending the Blue U. I was always fascinated by the Indian pageants at Round-up time and this picture captures that for me. 1983-1985

Kerry Hall says: Prince George, BC Spent a few years here working and going to the college. I love the shot of this bridge in, I can feel the cold bite in the air and hear the sounds of the city waking up. 1985-1989

Kerry Hall says: Walnut Creek, CA We stayed in Walnut Creek for a couple of years. I like this photo because we had a lot of 'fork in the road' decisions to make there; kids, school, church, career and ultimately, moving on... 1996-1998
