FLUTTERBY
The fisherman in the family was sitting in his boat on the Daly River in the Northern Territory, watching his line, and this butterfly seemed to float out of nowhere down, down, until it gently landed on his bag and expired, just like this. He brought it home for me and when I was given these lovely Sweet Peas, it was time to get out the delicate creature and give it a few more days of colour. A certain slant of light enables the delicious sight of the blue.
