This morning I purchased two books from the Op shop to use for packaging for my store. I opened one and this was written inside. I wonder who Jack and Madeline are? This book will remain as it is and live on my shelf. It has survived since 1943, so will continue to live on with me, on my shelf. If only this book could talk and tell me it's story. (the novel is called Burnt Sugar by F M Baume)
