Mark started out playing on the Birmingham live music scene before moving to London and becoming a key player on the new jazz and improvised music scene. Now based back in the North West of England where he grew up, he currently plays regularly with Manchester-based drummer Andrew Cheetham, and has recently performed and recorded with Phil Gibbs and Paul Dunmall, Dominic Lash and Phillip Marks, Tony Bianco, Olie Brice and Waclaw Zimpel among others.
