Pylon dance.
Taken on 17 March 2016 and uploaded 3 December 2024.
Two electricity pylons on Swanscombe Marshes in Kent, between the towns of Greenhithe in Dartford and Northfleet in Gravesham. Swanscombe Marshes is a pleasant open space with relics of bygone industry and it doesn't need to be built on.
Here are two pylons, dancing. One - the taller of the two - has an identical twin across the River Thames: the twins are each 623 feet tall and are the tallest pylons in the UK. With their occult powers and esoteric knowledge and super-brains they protect the peninsula against wanton speculation and foolish development by way of clever and powerful hexes. The imperceptible and subtle dance performed here strengthens these hexes and sends out good vibes to walkers of the marshes and so far, Things remain as they should be.
