One of the best views from the train is the one from the back platform of the caboose, or "waycar" as some railroaders called them. Relegated mostly to yard service these days, you'd likely have to go to a museum to ride in one. Such was not the case the day I made this image many moons ago in Lubbock, Texas. Speaking of Lubbock, I am reminded of Pat Pritchett and his notion that the best slide shows ended with a shot of a caboose. (Facebook B&W Challenge Day 5)
