I really missed my black borders and feel they really add to the impact of a shot so i made an executive decision and brought them back. On the computer screen i think they really work well. Pictures i feel need a simple framing of some sort both on the wall and on computer. My opinion of course ;)
Anyways. Ninos and i on the weekend headed out to collaroy to enjoy some much needed catching up. always a ball. Ninos was kind enough to sit in and be part of this shot. he is simply the best.
Couple of things im not happy about. My flash in front of me on the left did not fire and i also missed the beautiful colors in the sky. In all the rush i didn't plug in the cable to my trigger properly. There is always next time i guess.
Some time back i took my first picture of Ninos at North Curl Curl and mixed the 2 things i really enjoy in photography, strobing and seascapes. I must say im really enjoying the two together.
Strobist info - sb800 @ full power in reflective umbrella cto gelled, sb800 camera left at 1/2 power that didn't fire because of my stupidity, sb800 camera right at 1/2 power. All flashes triggered with cybersyncs.
Made another executive decision and decided to delete all black borders from my photo stream.
I also photoshopped the flash miss firing on the left hand side.
