Originally conceived as a four engined design eventually becoming a twin powered by Rolls-Royce Darts and was relatively successful around the world serving with a variety of airlines and even the Royal Malaysian Air Force. Most found their way back to the UK seeing out their final years flying Tomatoes and other perishable goods from the Channel islands along with Newspaper runs and other cargoes before finally being retired.
