Glamorous homage

After performing a re-enactment of his most famous 1947 acheivement in being the first man to break the sound barrier, Brigadier General 'Chuck' Yeager USAF exits the front seat of an Edwards AFB based F-15B Eagle.

Considering that when this photo was taken in 1996 he was a sprightly 73 years old.......it is testament to how much of the 'Right Stuff' this man has.

The 'Glamorous' is in recognition of the name he gave the Bell X-1, the aircraft he made that epic acheivement in, which he called 'Glamorous Glennis' in homage to his wife!
