US Army MIU Grumman OV-1 Mohawk 69-17002 on static display at the first IAT held at RAF Greenham Common in 1973

 

Used extensively in Vietnam the Mohawk was designed for battlefield surveillance and light strike / observation

 

This Germany based example carried the large underslung SLAR (Sideways Looking Radar)
