What a Mess

Back to Old Oak Common again and this time it's modelling a representation of the Staff Canteen and Offices. A typical 1960's modern flat roofed concrete construction 'parachuted' in amongst the original 'steam era buildings and seemingly out of place with the outgoing steam locos that were still there with those 'new fangled' diesels

Struggling to find any reasonable photos, I finally discovered what I needed so this is the 3rd iteration which is a slight modification due to available layout space.

Materials:

Card, plasticard, PETG, wet and dry sand paper and foam board so far, this being the 'modern' half and yet to be mated to an earlier more typical period design on the other half.

Still to do are the stair tower, flat roof and vents, paint the sand paper grey to make it look like concrete, add bricksurface on the ends and undersides and inside, maybe a few dining tables and chairs, plus some Bangers and Mash dinners and a few mugs of tea :)
