A slightly 'arty' take as B-52H 'Old Soldier II' aka 'Doom 61' returns to park at RAF Fairford

 

Conceived in the post WWII 1940's, first flown in the early 1950's used by SAC as a Nuclear deterrent throughout the Cold War, served throughout the Vietnam War, bombed Iraq in the two Gulf Wars and various skirmishes since - and still she Soldiers on
