While a Police Dog handler and his charge patrol the fields behind, all-black Royal Navy Hawker Siddeley/BAe T.8N Harrier ZD993/--723 rolls for take-off as Sea Harrier F/A.2 710 waits in turn during the 1996 RNAS Yeovilton 'Air Day'.

 

Note the Phantom parked behind!

Not an exotic visitor to the show but ex USMC McDonnell-Douglas F-4S Phantom II Bu.Aer.No.155848/WT-11 which had been acquired by the co-located FAA Museum.

Swapped for a Supermarine Scimitar, she was eventually upstaged by their acquisition of ex RN Phantom FG.1, XT596 and being surplus to their need, has since moved on to the Museum of Flight at East Fortune.
