Hard to port!
The Singapore registered MV 'Hoegh Osaka' with her four tugs in attendance seen still listing at a precarious angle yesterday some two miles off Lee-on-Solent.
With her cargo of several hundred cars and plant she left Southampton a couple of weeks back only to start listing almost as she left port. A decision was taken to 'beach' her on a Solent sand bank while her predicament was investigated but she floated free and was then towed back to a position of 'safety' until further decisions and salvage could be worked out.
