A photo-a-day for a Hobbling A Day. Weekly Theme for Week of October 10: Neighbors.
Across the parking lot from my apartment is Beautiful Rooms - Accessories & Fine Furniture. Most of their things would be too much for our little apartments. They try to pretend we are not here.
In the next building behind them is Pioneer Valley Hobbies. They are the home of electric trains, radio controlled airplanes, and model rockets. Some afternoons we'll see somebody out in the parking lot test-flying a plane.
At the other end of the building from Beautiful Rooms is North Garden Chinese Restaurant, "West Springfield's Little Hole In The Wall." They are a nice little place to eat, and they treat me like a regular. They have a seasonal liquor license which only runs during the summer. It is due to expire soon.
If you think the place where I live sounds like a cheap apartment building surrounded by factories, stores, and restaurants, you would be right.
