Smoke Plume At Sunrise
Earlier this week we had a blizzard. Today there was no snow and we had a few minutes of pink light at sunrise, which lighted up this plume from one of the power plants in Binghamton. That is not really smoke. It is moisture coming out of the stack which hits the dry cold air and condenses. The temperature was -3°F (-19°C).
