Lica Grunberg - born Jan 1, 1914 in Bucharest, Romania. Wrote stories for Dimineata Copilor, a magazine for children, signed Mosu-Lica. Joined the staff of Cortina and wrote as George Manoil. Wrote material for Romanian revues in Bucharest and Iassi, where Jean Goyan did scenery. During the war taught at Malbim and Moria Gaster schools. Wrote plays for the Micul Guliver Theater.
Among the children were Simon Goldstein (Shimon Barzi), Sergio Comissiona who played the violin (became a well-known conductor); Dory Zelzer (Dor Zelzer, the talented Israeli composer); Albert Goldenberg (who became a writer). After the war, in Israel he wrote for the newspapers Vointa and Viata Noastra, and wrote revues for the Li-La-Lo Theater. The reviews and his poetry are in Ben Zion Dinur archives.
