Sansotei
Chilled ramen - a pleasant surprise.
I was explained that there would be no soup, 3 times, when ordering. And of course, I realize this as I was doing my own research on hiyashi chūka, which consists of 2 types of sauce, toppings such as cucumber, julienned thin omelette, tomatoes and cold cut ham. As you can see here, the tomatoes and cucumber are the only common toppings.
The pickled red radishes ruined the dish though -- it was way too strong. As such, I just sidelined them and continued eating.. saving those for the end. The noodles are a weird texture again, that I've never had. The eggs were too heavy. However, the grilled pork was quite nice and I would have wanted another slice. The dressing made the whole dish come together as it was pleasant and light as a chilled noodle dish. I'd love to try this at Tokyo Grill or perhaps at Konnichiwa if they had it there.
