The Stunning Architecture Of THUNDERTON HOUSE In THUNDERTON PLACE, ELGIN, MORAYSHIRE, SCOTLAND.

Dating from the 14th Century, significantly rebuilt in 1650 it was once the principal house in the town for visiting monarchs. More recently an 18th - century coaching inn of the same name is said to have been a hiding place for Bonnie Prince Charlie before the Battle of CULLODEN IN 1746.

Now the Historical building is a busy cosy Gastropub 'The Thunderton House'
