by ellapronkraft.

The Sainte-Jeanne d'Arc Church and the market halls were built on the plans of the architect Louis Arretche. This church and challenged the bold architecture can admire the stained glass windows of the choir of the old church Saint-Vincent, formerly located at the bottom of the Jeanne-d'Arc street and destroyed in 1944. His appearance evokes both a Viking ship and a fish. It was inaugurated May 27, 1979 by Valéry Giscard d'Estaing, President of the Republic. The church is the subject of a registration as a historic monument since 30 October 2002.

Stained Glass
You can see 13 windows of the sixteenth century, made from 1520 to 1530, embedded in the northern wall of the church, from the choir of the old church of Saint Vincent. These canopies were put away by the Historic Monuments Service in 1939. Three of them come from the workshops of The Prince of Beauvais. Others are made by various glass artists, works of Rouen workshop, marked by the influence of Arnoult Nijmegen.
