Godzilla Sketch - 042110
My drawing bone briefly flared up a couple of nights ago (helped along, no doubt, by a comfortable portion of tequila), and this was the result.
Of the very few drawings I've done in the last yen years, a number of them seem to be of this messy, layered, emotional style. It's not exactly good art, but the possibilites are intriguing.
Original was drawn on a 9x12" Academie sketch pad with a Tombow Dual Bush pen (N45 Cool Gray) which is pretty much on its last legs. I've always loved the look of failing felt-tip markers. Wish you could buy 'em that way.
And yes, I do have Godzilla on the brain, lately! More so than usual, even!
