A huge and impressive Ganesha statue on Menjangan Island off the north west coast of Bali. The island is popular with snorkeling day trippers and now has a few small tourist resorts . These are probably helping to fund the renovations in progress at the Balinese Hindu temple complex, an important pilgimage destination for the Balinese. 'Menjangan' is Indonesian for the 'deer' that roam freely and confidently everywhere on the island.
