Orignal "Wildwood Villas" Millman Home
In the 1920's Joseph Millman purchased Fishing Creek land and started a development of inexpensive summer bunglows, naming it as a suburb of the popular Wildwoods. The 1942 Cape May County Resort Guide promoted it as a " charming bayside resort. Ideal vacation spot, this complete, modern community has stores, churches, a post office, and convenient transportation." By 1954, half of it's residents stayed year round and Millman advertised, "YOUR DREAM HOME COMES TRUE-4 rooms and a bath, large lot, near beach- All for only $2,995.00. Smal down payment-easy terms and low taxes"
