Cloud Cover

When i stood on the side of the embankment, looking over and across this valley, i knew it was one of those black and white moments. I always think that this is the best way to show off all the different tones in a view is like this.

 

This photo is another panoramic shot, 18 vertical shots in total, stitched together in Photoshop, its a bit of a beast of an image measuring nye on 62" in length, so please be sure to visit the larger high res version via the flickr link, which i'll post in the comments. I've even had to scale it down for Flickr..

 

One thing i really liked was the chap down by the waterfall taking a photo as it gives you a sense of the immense scale of the location. Can you spot him? He asked if i wanted him to move, but i said no...you dont get that very often these days as people will blindly just walk in to your shot even though they can see you framing up, looking through the camera.
