This photo was taken from hotel Panorama in Udaipur at Hanuman. It is probably the best value hotel in all of Udaipur, excellent low priced rooms with great views of the lake.
Udaipur is a small paradise were it's very easy to keep prolonging your stay. It's so comfortable and quiet compared to the rest of India. In the center of this small mountain town is a lake that has a couple of palaces built on them. To us westerners it's mostly famous because of the movie Bond movie Octopussy (Now that's a name for a movie! ;) You can see screanings every night at 7 in pretty much every selfrespecting restaurant there is in town. truly a must to visit even though it is a little bit out of the way.
